Development Process
GETTING TO KNOW YOU
During this phase of the process I am trying to get a quick overview of your business, and what makes your business special. We are looking for those little nuggets of info that give customers a real sense of what your business stands for.
ESTIMATE FOR CLARITY
When you get your quote, I will have outlined all of the key requirements for your new site. I will specify all of the associated website hosting and monthly fees that there might be. When you accept the quote I ask for 50% up front.
DESIGN & CREATIVE
Once the strategy is set, I instantly start work on your site. I develop a colour palette and font choices based on our discussion. I work out the specific call to actions you need for your site and source imagery to suit the design style.
I will provide a home page mock-up which will form the basis of the style for the rest of the website. I like to involve you during this phase, so may ask you to provide samples of sites you like.
We use technology that allows us to go from concept to working prototype as we go along. This gives you a chance to see your website in action and provide us with feedback.
FEEDBACK
Once you approve the initial concept home page we move to building your live website. You will be sent a link and will be able to check our progress every step of the way. We can often make changes over the phone and you can see the result straight away.
FINALISE – THEN GO LIVE!
Our Tauranga web design team get your feedback and finalise the design and content. We sort out the website’s SEO requirements and make sure it is mobile friendly and all the links work correctly.
